LUCY MILLS ART
Hello and welcome to my world of textile creations, I hope you like what you find here!
Since taking on my studio at Banks Mill in Derby, I’ve had the opportunity to explore, develop and refine my creative practise. I take inspiration from my lived experience as neurodivergent woman navigating the world around me.
I am captivated by the possibilities found working with textiles; I am drawn to its pattern, colour and culture. Despite the beauty of textiles, I often favour a punk DIY aesthetic. I think the directness appeals to my autistic nature!
